Orchard Recruitment was established in 1988. Originally known as Just Jobs, we changed our name to Orchard & Heroes in 1998 to celebrate ten years of recruiting excellence and to convey our philosophy towards both our clients and candidates.

We believe that we have a "duty of care" to all those that we work with. For our candidates we endeavour to establish that the companies we recruit on behalf of are genuine, decent organisations that believe in the development of their staff, by offering appropriate training and career opportunities. In short, if we wouldn't recommend a close friend to work with a particular company…we won't recommend it to one of our applicants.

Likewise, we recognise that the future success of any business depends upon its ability to recruit and retain the very best staff that it can. We work incredibly hard at putting ourselves in our clients' shoes, understanding their business and finding the very best people that we can for them. Yes, we may be elitist in some people's eyes, but we only submit candidates to clients unless we'd hire them ourselves.
