Founded in 2003, The Cloud is Europe's leading WiFi network operator, providing access to a sophisticated wireless local area network (WLAN / WiFi) covering over 7,000 hotspot locations throughout the UK, Germany and Sweden.

Our network
The Cloud installs and manages a carrier grade, Intel certified wireless networks in public locations. Our extensive network covers the key locations where consumers demand access and includes airports, railway stations, hotels, business centres, and coffee shops. In addition our neutral, multi-service provider platform allows mobile and broadband operators, Internet Service Providers and game console companies to offer a fully branded wireless LAN experience to their customers. We are continuously expanding our network, with new sites being added every day.
Our experience
We built our first 1000 sites in 10 weeks, so we know about building and managing complex networks. Our major Service Provider customers including O2, BT, and Vodafone, plus emerging players like Skype and the Nintendo WiFi connection. The Cloud can support multiple devices and simultaneous user experiences and is well placed to capture the growth from the convergence of broadband, voice and data in the away from home market.
