Total Fitness was founded in 1995 to develop a chain of health and fitness centres with the concept of health and well being. It was decided to create purpose built units of a size sufficient to incorporate extensive water facilities and large exercise areas within an open plan format.
The first centre was developed at Castleknock, Dublin, Republic of Ireland and a second at Malahide, Northern Dublin soon followed. Because of the success of the facilities it was decided to ‘roll out’ the centres in the UK.
We are now rapidly expanding in other regions and are continuing to source sites throughout the United Kingdom.
It is our aim to provide centres where a member can maintain their body at its optimum level, rehabilitate their body from illness, injury and generally improve their strength/fitness and tone. We believe we are unique in that we seek to provide total bodily well being.
We build two types of centre, one of which extends to 65,000sqft with the other extending to 80,000sqft, both of which incorporate an extensive range of equipment and facilities.
