A first for online recruitment
totaljobs.com is the first online recruitment site in the UK to carry out an ABCe audited diversity survey amongst its jobseekers. The results speak for themselves and demonstrate clearly that employers are able to recruit a diverse workforce via internet recruitment.
The questionnaire ran as a pop-up survey on the home page of totaljobs.com from the 10th - 18th May 2004. The survey method was audited by ABCe in conjunction with a traffic audit; this was done by emailing those respondents who were willing to be sent a verification email by the auditing company.
The auditing company verified the survey was genuine and that a range of respondents completed the survey on the ABCe certificate.
The purpose of the survey was to establish the diversity of the totaljobs.com jobseeker audience and the results below compare the totaljobs' job seeking audience with that of the UK in general.
