This job is being advertised for the position of Marketing Co-ordinator on behalf of Southlakeland Parks who are located within: Kendal, Cumbria

The North West’s largest holiday parks operator is looking for an enthusiastic marketing person to join our current marketing team.

Role Summary:
This role will provide continual design, print and web-based marketing support to the Southlakeland Parks brand. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and liaise with relevant marketing agencies, departmental managers and park managers to maximise online bookings and leads for sales.

The role requires both analytical and creative skills with a strong interest in online marketing. Time management and administrative skills are also essential to this role. Graphic Design skills are essential to perform this role.

Key responsibilities:
• Responsible for the design, content and upkeep of 10 Southlakeland Parks company websites.
• Responsible for e-mail marketing campaigns and all online customer communications.
• Understanding of online advertising including banner ads, links, PPC, SEO activity etc..
• To co-ordinate online promotions for both holiday home sales and rental bookings.
• Liaising directly with the external Graphic Designers who assist in the production of advertisements, graphics, banners, posters etc.
• To liaise with our Digital Agency in developing site layout, new functions, etc
• To assist with research, and advise accordingly when looking at creating new initiatives to maximise bookings and sales opportunities and discussing ideas to maximise acquisition and conversion opportunities.
• Monitoring of competitor activity online and regular reporting to the Marketing Manager.
• To monitor and provide support in the development of online marketing plans and working closely with the Marketing Manager to report web statistics on campaign performance.
• Assist the Marketing Manager through supporting offline marketing/promotional events.
• To work closely with the Marketing Manager and PR consultant to maximise the company’s profile and raise brand awareness.
• Maximise online listings on intermediary websites to maximise links and exposure.
• To be involved in day-to-day operations of the marketing department. This involves liaising closely with design agencies, printers, newspapers and media operators.
• Carry out bookings for advertisements, check proofs and check final production of designs.
• Copywriting content for news pages and listing relating to our company.
• To assist and collate figures from the website showing trends and preparing this information for marketing meetings in a concise and readable format.
• Carry out and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties.
• To closely liaise with the various parks within Southlakeland Parks group. This would involve troubleshooting of requests and requirements in a professional manner, providing advice, liaising with advertising contacts and the Marketing Manager.
• Check and process all invoices relating to online advertising, subject to approval from the Marketing Manager.
• To undertake a range of administration duties and carry out any further duties that may be asked by the Marketing Manager on a day-to-day basis.
• Maintain and develop corporate image and reputation by following the brand guidelines and protect and develop the company's brand.
• Liaise with Reservations Manager and Park Sales Teams with regard to promotions and events.
• Management of external links to build and optimise traffic to our company website.
