Control Accountant - 6 month FTC
Up to £35k dependent on experience + £5k car allowance pro rata
Our finance team is integrated into all areas of the business, from Operations to Marketing, Strategy to IT. We are now looking for a Control Accountant, initially for 6 month basis to assist the team during a busy period. There is potential for the role to become permanent depending on future workloads.

As Control Accountant your responsibilities will include:
- Performing control checks on payment runs, supporting purchasing processes ensuring adequate and appropriate controls are in place
- Acting as assistant system administrator ensuring systems are maintained, updated and controlled
- Assisting the Financial Controls Manager with reviewing and documenting controls and processes as required
- Reviewing the company's credit ratings, statutory accounts and providing any commentary or analysis required
- Assisting with the monitoring and reporting of internal and external audit, and acting as a point of contact where needed
- Liaising with senior stakeholders successfully across the business
As Control Accountant your experience will ideally include:
- Fully ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA qualified or qualified by experience
- Previous experience from within a similar position
- Previous insurance or financial services experience would be preferred but is not essential
- Demonstrable experience of stakeholder management at a senior level with a track level of delivering under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and stakeholder management skills
