This role would ideally suit a recent engineering graduate or a time served engineering apprentice who has a keen interest in QA/QC Inspection.
The role is with a global Oil and Gas company who have thier manufacturing facility based in Arbroath.
You will be mentored by a QA Inspector and will be given training in the use of precision tools, guages, CMM, shadowgraph, inspection fixtures testing equipment etc, in-process finished or purchased items for dimensions threads profiles finishes and damage hardness etc.
You will have a basic understanding of engineering practices and have the ability to interpret drawings. It would also be advantagious if you had experience in the use of measuring equipment.
You will be able to liase with personnel at all levels and will have good written and communictaion skill,s be computer literate and be keen to carve out a career in the Oil and Gas industry.
