Head of Management Reporting
Package £80k - £90k
Our finance team is integrated into all areas of the business, from Operations to Marketing, Strategy to IT. We are now looking for a Head of Management Reporting to lead a team of business partners.
The company is building towards a potential IPO and are looking for an individual with a professional, proactive attitude who is looking for a challenge. We require a highly commercial individual who will take ownership, be proactive and successfully lead a team.
As Head of Management Reporting your responsibilities will include:
- Developing the business partnership model to build a management reporting team that is fully embedded within the business
- Overseeing business partners performing full income analysis with variance explanation by product
- Managing the team to support business units in production of their cost centre Budgets
- Managing the process for the production of monthly management accounts pack and taking complete ownership in signing this off before distribution to the executive team
- Producing monthly P&L for each Business Unit
- Producing supplementary schedules for the month end pack (Graphical representations, Cost Per Acquisition, detailed cost analysis, Bonus Target reporting, etc)
- Coordinating with Commercial Managers to assess and challenge project business cases and ensure the outputs are fully embedded within the Budget/Forecast process
- Supporting the Financial Planning team and providing the challenge on results of forecast / budget cycles
- Coordinating the MI needs for the Finance department
- Ensuring the respective finance teams prepare and submit P&L, B/S and cash flows on a timely basis
As Head of Management Reporting your experience will ideally include:
- Fully ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA qualified or equivalent
- Significant experience of operating within a business partnership model
- Previous insurance or financial services experience would be preferred
- Demonstrable experience of reporting at a senior level with a track level of delivering under pressure
- Previous experience of producing management accounts in a PLC environment
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
