European Accountant

My client is a leading global consulting organisation and is s currently recruiting a European Accountant for its global Head Office in Fife, Scotland.  With 19 offices in 13 countries world-wide, and plans to expand its global coverage, this is an exciting period to join the company.  

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for a number of European entities.
• Responsible for accuracy of accounting records using MS Dynamics AX, including robust Balance Sheet reconciliations. 
• Co-ordinating reporting from out-sourced accounting services in some European countries.  
• Assist in the migration of further European entities into the Head Office in Scotland, in conjunction with the European FC.
• Preparation of statutory accounts for a number of European entities.
• Assistance with Group wide accounting projects.

You will be a qualified/part qualified accountant with a proven track record in a similar position in a Europe wide group, which will allow you to develop further within the company.

First and foremost, you will be able to demonstrate your excellent financial accounting and reporting skills coupled with strong project management and relationship building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively within the business teams.

You will have sound knowledge of UK GAAP and ideally some knowledge of local European GAAP although this is not essential.
