Treasury and Tax Accountant

My client is a leading global consulting organisation and is s currently recruiting a European Accountant for its global Head Office in Fife, Scotland.  With 19 offices in 13 countries world-wide, and plans to expand its global coverage, this is an exciting period to join the company.  

• Central management of bank accounts ensuring that best practice processes are adopted, monitoring of cash balances, assessing business funding needs, including cash flow forecasting.
• Manage the businesses cash generation process, providing management information and guidance as considered necessary.
• Assist in the management of  group banking relationship, including ensuring compliance with banking covenants..
• Manage and implement a corporate hedging program.
• Allocation of FX hedges to group and co-ordination of 12 month hedge forecast.
• Responsibility for all inter-company accounting and documentation.
• Responsibility for tax compliance (Corporation Tax/PAYE&NIC/VAT) at all times.

You will be a qualified/part qualified accountant with a proven track record in a similar position ideally within a global organization, which will allow you to develop further within the company.

You will be able to demonstrate your strong project management skills, and relationship building skills, coupled with the ability to communicate complex financial arrangements easily and simply in order to communicate effectively with the business teams.  

You will have excellent financial analysis skills and have experience of working in corporate treasury and cash and liquidity management.

You will be resilient and able to work under pressure to deadlines, with strong attention to detail.
