CLIENT
My client is a multi-national market leader in the waste and recycling sector. Due to a recent contract win they are proactively seeking 2 commercial managers
ROLE
The role is varied, exciting and multi-functional
Your primary focus is to source waste wood material for processing at a number of sites across the country. This biomass product will then be used to fuel one of the largest Combined Heat and Power Plants (CHP) in the UK
You will source wood through various means including:
New business sales to corporate and public sector / municipal clients
Actively targeting skip companies and the construction waste sector
Working with existing company accounts to identify opportunity for wood waste segregation and collection
Working with other waste companies
Internal networking with sales and commercial departments
You will also oversee sites and make sure production is being undertaken efficiently (this is not site management just a monitoring stop check process)
You will be targeted on wood tonnage sourced per annum
EXPERIENCE
Experience of wood waste would be a perfect fit however you will also be considered if you have general waste experience with construction waste experience a real plus
