Description of the job
Right now we are looking for Process Managers to join the team in Broughton

The Process Manager role is recognised as the first organisational management level at Airbus in the UK, Broughton.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, as Process Manager you will be responsible for executing and implementing the business production schedule, ensuring that the production process and procedures are achieved to business targets Additionally, the Process Manager will carry accountability for continuous and change management improvement. You will be provided autonomy to successfully take the initiative and manage change through clear and strong leadership, to ensure the team achieves the required business outcomes.

This role focuses on the co-ordination of activities to provide support throughout the business, ensuring target conditions are met and business performance is achieved, leading to organisational growth.

Tasks
The Process Manager is responsible for the Management of their team including communications, Performance management, Goal setting, Coaching, and Disciplinary Management. It is also essentials that they ensure every team member in their team has a clear Manager to whom they can escalate any issues and address any problems.

They are also responsible for the daily management of Process Performance, People, Machines, Materials, Methods and Measurement of Performance and Improvement.

Monitor and controlling SQCDP targets and where appropriate putting actions/measures in place to ensure business targets are met and reviewing where appropriate including sickness / absence and overtime. Lead daily/weekly/monthly review of SQCDP metrics, issues and countermeasures with the Team Coordinators and support function members ensuring that the appropriate tools and forums are attended to enable performance improvement in line with business requirements.

Demonstrated Airbus UK Behavioural Competencies; Customer Focus, Bottom Line Orientation (Results Orientation) Team Working (Team Orientation), Transparency (Communication), Decisiveness and Interfaces.

Conduct daily process confirmation audits on standards adherence to Safety, Quality, 5S, Team Board status and equipment condition (including observing Team Coordinator Meetings)

Contribute to Departmental Improvement Projects and Tactical Improvement Plans (TIPs)
Deliver manage specific improvements as agreed with business Management team

Your skills
The Process Manager will be assertive, resilient and ambitious and responsible for providing leadership, guidance and focus in order to maintain a safe working environment. An interactive people manager, you will develop a highly motivated team to achieve business performance targets by promoting a philosophy of a 'can do attitude'.

The successful candidate will work in detail with Team Co-ordinators to deliver business excellence and to provide direction and understanding of targets and responsibilities. The role holder will be required to interface and integrate themselves with support functions and will be expected to maintain a visual presence on the shop floor too.

To be considered for this position we are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual, who has demonstrated and appropriate experience in delivering performance and process management and who has outstanding team building skills within an operational environment, in order to support and lead a team of production staff to accomplish given targets.
