My client a leading local authority is currently recruiting a Commissioning Analyst

Supporting the Lead for Commissioning in driving forward the Commissioning programme, and supporting commissioning and procurement projects, which deliver organisational change to enable the organisation to achieve improvement.
Duties will include
Providing high quality commissioning, commercial and procurement advice to Commissioners and Category Managers.
Managing and co-ordinating a consistent approach to procurement activity across the organisation, providing guidance to services and supporting and challenging major procurement projects, including OJEU compliant tendering, or the use of frameworks
Requirements
Previous experience of working within Public Sector Commissioning
Knowledge of the Procurement Cycle and OJEU processes
