The location
The Wing Centre, 126 Richmond Park Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH8 8TH
The Wing Centre is a 38 week per year residential special college based in Bournemouth for young men of 16 - 19 years who have Asperger Syndrome. The Wing Centre uses specialist approaches, environments and staff expertise, to prepare students to meet the demands of adult life in a positive way.
The role
As an integral part of the Night team, the Night Support Worker will provide guidance, support and encouragement to individuals in the houses. The job involves enabling our young people to develop by providing support during a constant waking night.
This role is a term-time position, nights required to work are Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights.
What you’ll need
The successful candidate will be a good role model for our students, and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
Experience of working as part of a team.
To be able to work as directed to complete tasks reliably to the required standard.
Experience of working in care is desirable but not essential.
