Job Summary
Join Care UK as a Construction Project Manager and you’ll have the chance to work on multiple high-profile projects to the combined value of £20 – £25 million. Key Responsibilities
You’ll make sure that a major programme of new build and refurbishments is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standards. Providing insight and guidance throughout each project’s lifecycle, you’ll develop work with a framework of key consultants, contractors and suppliers, managing their performance to ensure excellent results. A strong communicator, you’ll keep people up-to-date on progress both internally and externally. You’ll also keep a close eye be responsible for managing development on costs budgets, preparing cost estimates (and other documentation) for bids, managing (and reporting on) financial expenditure and controlling contractor payments.
Skills & Experience
To join us, you’ll need to have extensive experience in Construction Project Management – ideally in the care sector. You’ve already proven you have excellent project management skills – and the ability to successfully manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. In particular, you’ll need to have a track-record of keeping tight financial controls over projects.
