ROLE:
Property Design focus on the layout internally and externally of their stores, focus on the look and feel to make the customer shopping experience better simpler and cheaper. You could be reviewing access to sites right through to what products flow best in the shopping trip. They link to many other departments within and external to our client and your week could involve visiting stores in construction to working with the formats team on new concepts. That would involve liaising with their main contractors, architects and quantity surveyors, as well as retail colleagues. You`ll be exposed to the latest thinking in format design, and will be expected to find solutions for a variety of challenges linked to different store formats or building shapes.
The programme will involve hands on experience planning stores, visiting sites and understanding the process.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) 2:1 (or expected) Design Related Degree.
b) A passion and drive for working in a Property and Retail environment.
c) The ability to work well in a team with a range of professionals.
d) The character to enjoy a fast-paced life.
You may have experience in the following roles: Architectural Design, Building Design, Construction Design, Consumer Product Design, Interior Design, Corporate Design, Creative Product Design, Design Management, Design Technology, Integrated Industrial Design, Product Design Development, Product Design Manufacturing, etc
