Position: Construction and Development Graduate (Sept 2010 intake)

ROLE:
The Property Construction and Development department set up natural work teams to deliver each project, working with Contractors, Design, Quantity Surveyors, Architects, Mechanical Engineering and Planners. Their key challenges are to acquire, build on time, within budget and to quality standards.
During your time on the programme, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects. These may include identifying and acquiring sites for new stores and developments, or obtaining planning permission. Other areas could include initial concept through to finished building. Your role will be hands on, dealing with main contractors, architects and quantity surveyors. You will be expected to find solutions for a variety of challenges on site
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) A 2:1 Property or Construction related Degree.
b) A passion and drive for working in a Property and Retail environment.
c) The ability to work well as a team with a range of professionals.
d) The character to enjoy a fast-paced life.
