As a 2nd Chef you will assist and deputise for the Head Chef in providing tasty, nutritious and well-balanced meals for our residents and guests. Our residents have a range of special dietary requirements, therefore previous catering experience in this field is desirable for this challenging yet rewarding role.
Barchester Healthcare strive to provide the very best standards of care, and our residents enjoy the fine dining experience every day. In order to maintain these standards we invest heavily in staff training. For staff who wish to develop their career our Chef Academy has a range of workshops to enhance skills and provide the opportunity to achieve nationally recognised qualifications including NVQS.
