Kent based market-leading client looking for a 2nd line Support Engineer to commence work immediately. 2nd Line Support Engineer required who has SQL 2000, SQL 2008, VB6, VBA, MS Access, Active Directory and DNS experience. 2nd Line Support Engineer with experience in the above skills. 2nd Line Support Engineer with SQL 2000, VB6, VBA, MS Access, Active Directory, DNS.

We are looking for a 2nd Line Engineer with SQL 2000, SQL 2008, VB6, VBA, MS Access, Active Directory and DNS experience.
Job Description- 1st and 2nd Line Support for all internal and external customers
- Supporting current network infrastructure
- Support and maintain implementation of new infrastructure
- SQL and VB experience
- Communicating with customers by telephone and email
- Dealing with 2nd line support, including identifying bugs in software, writing SQL statements, Windows server and network maintenance, querying SQL databases.
- Resolving user queries for our software
Essential Skills- Experience in a customer facing roll
- SQL 2000/2008
- VB6 and VBA
- MS Access 2003
- Windows networking and Active Directory
- Terminal server/Remote App
- Some experience with website hosting including DNS, IIS
Other Skills- You will be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent, proven customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Team player
- Identify potential technical problems that could extend beyond the scope of the problem definition - essential
- Ability to quickly understand complex procedures and work flows.
