Job Purpose
- Evaluation and maintenance of
regional drug catalogues (RDC) for overseas customers, including
professional quality control.
- Maintaining close contact with
overseas customers to resolve drug vocabulary and clinical issues.
- Liaison with both the technical
team in the US
maintaining the international product and the US editorial team to ensure
development of universal editorial policies.
- Maintenance and development of
the Multilex Drug Data File (MDDF) and Product Information File (PIF)
including professional quality control.

lists for International regions.

practitioners in a multitude of scenarios.This role demands a commitment to quality, an enthusiasm for and
recognition of the importance of the data to direct patient care and a desire
to ensure that our best efforts are made to achieve the highest quality product
and level of service to our customers.
Specific Duties
- Quality
control and, as required, maintenance of MDDF/ PIF and RDCs for international
customers with respect to not only the data itself but also to the review and
development of the editorial policies and the work instructions that govern
that maintenance
- Maintain
expertise in specific clinical and technical areas as required
- Provide
training to other members of the company as required
- Provide
support for other departments within the company
- Participation
in the company’s development projects or customer implementations

The role of Pharmacist
(International) will be suited to those with an interest in developing
electronic medicines information and a firm commitment to provision of
information of the highest quality and practical usability in all healthcare
sectors.

Areas
- Ensure that production deadlines are met and quality
standards are maintained by adherence to editorial policies and work
instructions
- Ensure
quality/ risk issues are identified and communicated to senior staff in a
timely manner. Agreed investigation/ resolution plans should be agreed and
executed
- Identify
and resolve inconsistencies in the data with reference to editorial policies
- Maintain
a high level of professional development regarding new medical and
pharmaceutical matters across the breadth of therapeutic areas expected of a
Pharmacist, extend this expertise for assigned specialist areas, lead by
example and foster an ethos of professionalism and dedication within KBS

in the continual evolution of efficient working practices
Requirements
- Minimum 2:2 degree in Pharmacy
- Current GPhC Registration
- Minimum of 2 years post pre reg
