The salary I am sure you will agree is better than most, however just as the quality of service the firm offers is better than most, so is the service they expect from their drivers, ie they are not looking for just any 7.5t delivery driver, being able to drive is not enough...
WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR
· Positive Kando attitude by the bucket load.
· Experienced 7.5t driver with references.
· Heavy lifting is required so you must be physically fit.
· Communicate well with customers and drivers mate even in difficult situations.
· Get the job done, approach.
· High personal standards, from hygiene to paperwork!
· Plus of course just to be just a nice person!
· A flexible approach to working hours including some weekend work.
The position is for full time permanent.
WHAT THEY ARE NOT LOOKING FOR
We are not your average run of the mill furniture store and they are certainly not looking for a dump and run cowboy for their deliveries!
Ideally the successful candidate will live within 40 miles of Edinburgh for ease of access to the warehouse just at the back of Costco and Ikea in Loanhead.
