Do you have Ticketing experience?
This highly regarded travel company based in Surrey is looking for an Air Ticketing Agent to join their successful Air Operations department. The role will involve issuing all air tickets (charter & schedule) and manage daily tasks via BSP link.
Role of Air Ticketing Agent:
* Ensure all issued tickets are at the most attractive commercial terms to the company
* Overview and establish procedures to improve efficiencies and quality control in relation to ticketing and daily BSP activities
* Operate daily procedures via BSP link including ticket refunds, exchanges and re-issues
* Oversee and manage weekly flight manifests
* Ensure all airfares and airline documentation is kept updated
* Keep up to date with all IATA, BSP and any internal legal requirements in relation to issuing of schedule and charter tickets
Necessary Air Ticket experience:
* Must have ticketing experience within the travel industry
* Understanding of schedule air ticketing and BSP procedures
* Knowledge of Amadeus preferred but not essential
* Accurate and constructions of PNRs within GDS systems
* Familiar with airline contracts
* Ability to multi task and work to tight deadlines
