Job Role

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk your duties will include:

  • Experience of working in a hotel
  • Matching and batching of invoices received from a varied client base.
  • Price and discount reconciliations
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Weekly and monthly payments by cheques and BACs
  • Resolving queries
  • Weekly cashflow

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a proven background in a previous Purchase Ledger position
  • Have a working knowledge of full accounts payable procedures
  • Be able to handle electronic payments
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be able to work well as part of a team

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
