Assistant Manager / Assistant Store Manager – Giftware Retailer
The Company:
Our client is an undisputed retail brand leader. They trade nationwide from their own stores and also through concessions in various leading department stores. They are currently looking for a driven Assistant Manager / Assistant Store Manager to join the team.
Job Role - Assistant Manager / Assistant Store Manager:
Your role will consist of the assistant the Store Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of your store. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and controlling the overall operation of the store in line with company policies and procedures
- Reviewing and securing the required level of profitability
- Recruiting, training and developing staff to encourage effective performance and prepare them for progression to
their next role
- Maintaining high levels of customer service
Key Attributes - Assistant Manager / Assistant Store Manager:
As an Assistant Store Manager, it is essential that you have previous experience in a retail management role. You will also need:
- Strong sales skills
- Excellent store merchandising standards
- Experience in a customer-facing environment
