Account Director, Digital Account Manager - Respected Digital Agency

We are a growing digital agency based In the City / East London. We work with a variety of great brands (such as Avis, AOL and MTV) and agencies (such as TBWA, Wieden+Kennedy and Albion) to produce a diverse range of high quality digital work.
We are looking for a talented digital account handler to join our growing team, overseeing the management and growth of our key account
The Account Director’s role is to proactively develop our client’s digital marketing effectiveness, continually meeting and exceeding our client’s expectations. The Account Director must provide outstanding client service to accounts, build relationships with clients and set the strategic vision for accounts to encourage new and repeat business.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provides strategic account leadership of key accounts, making proactive recommendations to enhance their online digital marketing output
- Handles all client communications on designated accounts and acts as point of escalation for other accounts
- Reviews all major deliverables such as brief, functional specifications, technical specification, etc. to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met
- Independently ensures that all client issues are dealt with efficiently and informing senior management when problems arise
- Works closely with the production team to maintain continuous knowledge of project status to identify potential issues and/or opportunities
- Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met and that all projects are profitable
- Actively pursues opportunities for account growth and new business
- Communicates the client’s goals and represents the client’s interests to the team
- Provides regular communication between the client and the team
- Unquestionable understanding of Acknowledgement capabilities and services, effectively communicating these to clients through tailored proposals
- Project management of small projects
- Frequently meeting with clients and also being an active participant in pitches
- Produces weekly report on all account activity, including statuses and contacts reports
- Planning and carrying out work with minimal direction
Account Director - Digital Account Handler Required Skills:
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience in a digital agency
- Proven digital account management, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Execution of digital marketing strategies
- Extremely detail orientated
- Strong understanding of online technologies and an appreciation for what’s technically possible in a given timeframe
- Measurable experience in managing and growing satisfied digital accounts
- Strong negotiation skills
- Fluent in English and impeccable written and oral communication skills
