Account Manager - Laboratory Supplies - North East of England - 20-30K
My client is an International producer of laboratory supplies. They are the leader in the global research laboratory industry with worldwide sales in excess of $3 billion dollars.
My Clients business is highly diversified across products and services, geographic regions and customer segments. The company offers products from a wide range of manufacturers, to a large number of customers primarily in North America, Europe and other locations. Their principal customers are major pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, technology, clinical, food processing and consumer product companies, universities and research institutes, governmental agencies, environmental testing organizations, and primary and secondary schools.
The Role
The role will include selling my clients products within a set territory and managing their current accounts along with developing new business.
Role Requirements
The suitable candidate must be educated to degree level and have an extensive sales and marketing background. The ideal candidate for this role will have an extremely good knowledge of the UK lab consumables market and will be well driven. It is also essential that the suitable candidate has an enthusiastic attitude toward work and is happy to work potentially long hours on the road.
