A new opportunity has arisen within our Finanancial Services Department for a Account Manager. The main purpose of the role is to bring on and develop new partner relationships, incorporating the needs of the partners into the Account Management process and building strong relationships with senior and junior partner contacts.

Key Responsibilities
Targeted for developing a strategic and operational relationship with a number of new partners to Homeserve that will positively contribute to the growth targets for the business.
Responsibility for the account management process, taking a new partner from post-contract stage and developing a profitable relationship.
Work with the New Product Development and Marketing teams and the partner to develop the optimum product offering and route to market.
Build offers and agreements that meet Homeserve economic criteria.
Maintain a focus on what is profitable at the Homeserve group level, with other group companies benefiting from Homeserve Membership growth.
To influence and communicate at a junior and senior level both within the affinity partners and Homeserve
Ensure that all areas of your role comply with all legal and statutory requirements applicable, including but not exclusively FSA and IMD legislation, data protection, health and safety and corporate governance.
Manage all aspects of account management within your remit with due skill, care and diligence including effective controls, risk management and mitigation.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Previous account management/business development/sales and marketing experience within either product or service sales environment strategic and commercial acumen with a consultative approach
Strong negotiation and objection handling skills
The ability to influence and impact at all levels with good presentation skills
Strong relationship building abilities
Full driving license
Ideally of graduate caliber
Experience within a financial services environment, ideally insurance.
