Account Manager – Yorkshire – Up to £22,000 basic salary, with 1st year realistic on target earnings of £30,000 

Our client is offering a generous overall package with an Audi A3/ VW Golf, contributory pension, birthday incentives, lap top and phone included. This exciting Advertising Account Manager's position has become available due to the strengthening of the organisation's audience in the Yorkshire region. Working for a huge media group, the Account Manager will be joining a very stable and successful team that has not missed a target in over six months. As a Sales Executive, you will sell into West and South Yorkshire and would ideally be located in this area.

The successful Business Development Manager would be joining a very stable and expanding team, hence, they are in a position where they can invest three months of training into the applicant in this instance. The managment team believe in personal and individual motivation and offer a relaxed environment to work in. 

The Role: 


The successful Account Manager in this media sales role will be selling various advertising solutions to the SME market place, retail and public sector organisations.
As a media business development executive you will be covering West and South Yorkshire from a centrally located office.
90% of the time the successful Sales Representative will proactively chase new business, whilst spending 10% being an Account Manager to existing business.
There is no micro management and autonomy and creativity is encouraged as long as there is a financial benefit to the business.
Leads will be self generated and the ability to make appointments over the phone is a key part of this role
Training will be key to the first three months of the role, which will enable the successful candidate to build their way up to their realistic targets.
 
The Candidate: 


The successful sales professional will have a previous record of success in an internal sales environment preferably, although achievement in media, advertising or associated industries would be considered.
Must have had success in a telephone based sales environment as this is a key part of the Account Manager's role.
We are looking for a business development executive with desire, passion, self motivation who can present and sell at any level of decision maker.
Living in Yorkshire is critical as the team is office based when not out selling on patch.
Creativity is necessary as you will need the ability to think on your feet during meetings with clients.
 
The Package: 


Basic salary : Up to £22,000
Realistic first year OTE : £30,000
