Accounts & Credit Controller – High Tech Self Storage Centre
Full time
Storage Giantis seeking a motivated, professional accounts person, with good communication skills, to work alongside a dedicated team of professionals at its high tech flagship Newport self storage facility.
Coming from an accounts or finance background (experience essential) you will have proven computer skills, ideally with a good working knowledge of QuickBooks and MS Excel. You will also have a good grasp of sales ledger and VAT accounting as well as credit control, NI and PAYE for a small but progressive company. You will be working with a friendly team with a view to generating maximum cash flow, minimise bad debt as well as adhering to a monthly budget. You will need to maintain up to date logs on all accounts, manage the credit control function and regularly review collection procedures, recommending alternative collection techniques and procedures as appropriate. You will also need to develop a detailed knowledge of all clients and customers.
It is essential that you are honest, professional, hard working, as well as a team player, along with having excellent communication & numerical skills. It would also be an advantage if you can demonstrate a history in chasing business to business debt, although this is not essential.
You will ensure the profitability & security of the company through efficient and effective credit control.
