Our Clients are A subsidiary of a major group and an opportunity has arisen to join a small team responsible for the Finance Function.
The role will be to assist the Financial Controller in all aspects of the finance function from hands on day to day activities to special Ad hoc assignments. The nature of the business presents the Finance team with a number of unusual and interesting challenges. There will also be the opportunity to take part in the implementation of a new accounts package.
The Finance team is responsible for:
- purchase ledger
- sales ledger
- supporting the credit control team
- cash control, payments and sundry receipts
- assisting with cost control and evaluation exercises to monitor various aspects of the business
- assisting with preparation of management accounts
- environmental returns
- analysis, development and reporting using specialist waste management software package
The successful candidate will have experience of working on a range of tasks and is prepared to be involved in all aspects of the department's activities. Likely to have studied AAT, CIMA or ACCA to some level and will be competent in the use of excel.
Salary will be competitive based upon skill and experience.
