A leading Acoustic Consultancy specialising in the design and manufacture of noise control products in particular, industrial enclosures, anechoic chambers and Acoustic Doors currently have a requirement for an Acoustic Sales Engineer to strengthen business in the South. The successful applicant will have extensive knowledge of acoustics/sound masking and a strong background in sales as you will be required to provide technical guidance in relation to acoustic products and build strong client relationships assisting in business development and expansion.
Salary: Up to £25K + Commission + Mileage Allowance
Qualifications
Ideally qualified to degree level in Acoustics
Experience
Experience of site work (Health and safety, risk assessments etc.)
Extensive knowledge of acoustics/sound masking
Experience within a sales role with a proven track record in business development and the full sales cycle
Ability to absorb technical information
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a high degree of interpersonal and customer service skills
Experience of effective problem solving and using initiative
Excellent communication and time management skills
Duties
Provide volume control solutions to support acoustic requirements
Promotion, Sales and Contract management of Acoustic Products
Specification sales to architects, designers, acoustic consultants, and main contractors across the UK.
Process client orders
Projects
Typical projects include:
Generating sales of Anechoic Chambers/Industrial Enclosures
Advising on products for Audiology Rooms and Suites
