Great opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a busy national company during a period of growth. eXPERIENCE IN TENDERS NOT NEEDED AS TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN.
Job Summary
To work within a well-established Tenders team, with the Marketing department, sourcing, creating and processing prospective tenders, completing and maintaining pre-qualifying questionnaires (PQQ’s) and tender proposals, for both commercial and public sector.
Key Responsibilities·Respond to approved supplier’s questionnaires and write to authorities/public sector bodies to initiate approved suppliers questionnaires/tender documents.
·Receive and prioritise Tender documents/PQQ’s and accumulate relevant information to send to appropriate departments/sales managers.
·Compile information and complete tender documents/quotations/PQQ’s to deadline and of a high quality standard, matching appropriate literature and legislation to tender requirements.
·Liaise with key ‘Internal’ customers on specific requests and tender applications, answering questions and carrying out research/investigation as required.
·Communicate professionally with your internal / external customers at all times.
·Ensure accurate data entry at each stage of process.
·Maintain good files of historic information.
Interactions·Reporting to the Tenders Controller, with high interaction with personnel within marketing, field sales and admin personnel.
·Ongoing contact with other departments like IT, Health and Safety and Finance.
·Liaising with Senior Management, and other key contacts across the group.
·Speaking to new and existing customers in both Commercial and Public Sector.
·Day to day contact with agencies (like BIP) in relation to sourcing new Tender information, challenging data and improving search function.
