Client comments: minute taking, orders for equipment, health and safety responsibility, deputy to office supervisor and cover when needed, operational support, building security when needed.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Intermediate administrative qualification, eg BTEC National or equivalent

Intermediate Typing/Word Processing qualification – 35 wpm

RSA II or equivalent

NVQ in Business Administration Level 3

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

Working in an administrative setting

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

Arranging & servicing meetings

Record Management

Operating a sub-imprest account (Petty Cash)

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Knowledge of relevant information technology systems

Good keyboard skills

Good communication skills both written and verbal

The ability to use own initiative

The ability to prioritise workloads

The ability to work as a member of a team

The ability to maintain confidentiality in a work setting

To have knowledge of the cultures and religions of the communities of Lancashire

To have the ability to value diversity and work across cultures

DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Knowledge of financial procedures and processes

Knowledge of administrative procedures

Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation

Good organisational skills

The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
