An office based sales role for a specialist publications co. based in Cheshire.Our client has excellent market presence and brand recognition, a small close knit sales team in which a client focused sales approach is essential.
Office location easily commutable for those who drive and reside in the following areas: Macclesfield, Poynton, Stockport, Cheadle, Wilmslow, Buxton, Knutsford, Alderley Edge etc.
THE ROLE:
This is an ideal opportunity for those with advertising / media sales experience currently seeking a new sales challenge within the Cheshire / south Manchester area.The company is a market leader and operates in a sector where aggressive selling isn’t appropriate, as such it is ideal for those wishing to sell in a specialist industry in which the focus is on rapport building and ongoing client management.A full cycle telephone based sales role, the successful applicant will be given a number of existing accounts to manage and develop to full potential from day one whilst also proactively establishing new business sales relationships and sourcing leads at every opportunity.Targets with be monthly revenue based and whilst there are no rigid KPI’s sales executives are required to make 40 proactive outbound calls a day – split between new business and account management calls.
THE PERSON:
All applicants must match the following criteria to be considered:
·Previous experience of advertising / media / publication based telesales within a targeted sales team environment (this is essential)
·Excellent rapport building and account management skills alongside the ability to source and develop new business sales opportunities via cold calling
·Must be a strong team player capable of working to both individual and team sales targets within a close knit sales team environment
·Requires a strong work ethic, must be naturally reliable, driven, hard working, punctual etc
**Ideal for those with some advertising telesales experience who prefer working within a close knit sales team (as opposed to a large sales floor) and would enjoy selling within the arts and crafts market**

Hours: Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5.30pm.Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm.Free parking.
