AEROSPACE PROJECT MANAGER - QUALITY ASSURANCE: My client requires an experienced Aerospace or Defence biased Project Manager. However it is essential that candidates show a strong background in Quality Assurance to be successful in filling this position. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the relevant quality assurance controls of products (hardware, software and services) are in accordance with the contractual requirements and those compatible with my clients Quality Systems. He/She will oversee: Quality Assurance, RAMS, Product Liability, Parts and Materials, EEE Parts, Software Quality.
AEROSPACE PROJECT MANAGER - QUALITY ASSURANCE- Key Responsibilities:
-As a member of a core project team, provide advice and guidance on technical and quality issue
-Act as quality interface for project and engineering management teams
-Head a small quality team in the Product Assurance (PA) of all parts, materials and processes, quality engineering, software QA and reliability in the overall quality system
-Direct interface with internal/external customers involving negotiation for quality standards/requirements.
-Defining and implementing quality requirements for suppliers and subcontractors and monitoring the implementation of these requirements by liaison and audits.
AEROSPACE PROJECT MANAGER - QUALITY ASSURANCE-Qualifications and Experience:
-Project Management/Quality Management within the Aerospace, Defence or Space domains ESSENTIAL!!!!
-Expert user and promoter of quality tools and methods, particularly risk management
-Degree or HND/HNC or specialist knowledge in relevant disciplines
-Team Management experience
