Specialists are required to make reservations for either Eastern or Southern Africa.You will be joining a highly regarded and award winning reservations
team, who are highly prised for their expert reservations knowledge. The
successful candidate will be making luxury reservations to either Eastern or Southern Africa for journey of a lifetime, where you will
be able to share you passion, knowledge and expertise with a discerning
clientele.You will be solely
responsible for looking after all aspects of a clients enquiry, from the
initial interest, drawing up a detailed itinerary, converting and confirming the
booking, and then ensuring that all requests and segments are confirmed with
suppliers before sending out personalised travel documents.This will require constant communication with
your clients, so that they feel as though they are an integral part in the
organisation of there holiday, and also so that they know that they are being
looked after by the best in the business.At all times you will be using your product knowledge to try and
maximise the sale of the holiday, by 'up-selling' and 'switch-selling' as well
as suggesting extra excursions/activities that the client can take, so that
they are able to get the most out of their holiday experience.This will help you to achieve your ultimate
goal, of trying to achieve repeat business from the client.The successful candidate will have an
outgoing and friendly personality, with the ability to build rapport with a
client quickly and effectively through excellent communication skills.You will have a great passion for Africa, and need to have experience of travelling
extensively through either the Southern or Eastern Regions of this great
continent. Once the sale has been completed you will be expected to ensure that
all services are booked with the appropriate suppliers, you will remain a
single point of contact for the client until they depart, being responsible for
all administration interaction, informing and acting upon and changes,
amendments or alterations. It will be your ultimate goal to encourage and
ensure that you are able to secure repeat business from your clients.To achieve this you will need to be
enthusiastic and articulate, so that your clients will know that they are
speaking to a true expert who is truly fascinated with their holiday
destination.You will be a motivated and
committed individual with a desire to work to the highest standards with a
cheerful, outgoing and confident personality with high levels of initiative
fully understanding the importance of customer service. Whilst previous sales
or travel industry experience is advantageous, this role is ideal for anyone
who has a genuine love of this great country's people, places and culture and
who is looking to work for a company that invests in its people and wants a
career in travel.
