We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Air Test Engineer to join a well established and rapidly growing industry service provider based in Dartford.
The company specialises in test and measurement services primarily for the power generation and electricity production and distribution industries. They require a suitably qualified specialist to carry out plant performance testing and allied contract work at clients Power Station sites throughout the UK and at Dartford base to timescales, costs and MCERTS performance standards.
Salary: £25 - 30K + Benefits
Qualifications
Graduate of HNC qualified in Mechanical, Combustion, Environmental or Thermodynamics engineering with additional apprenticeship training.
MCERTS Level 1 qualified
Experience
Minimum of 3 years industry experience in the fields of Power plant performance testing, Environmental testing and Power plant instrumentation and measurement systems.
Computer literate with familiarity of Microsoft and other engineering application packages
Strong team working, interpersonal, written and oral skills
ECITB safety passport holder and or commensurate site experience
Clean driving license
Physically fit with an aptitude for the practical aspects of this investigational work.
Duties
Organise, supervise and report to clients on the results of contra t work
Interface with customers
Maintenance of safety standards
Training of junior staff
Maintenance of QA standards
Maintenance of LPS test equipment
Undertake sampling of particulate and gaseous pollutants in accordance with relevant British Standards
Conducting air quality impact assessments and monitoring programmes
GIS work
Technical report writing.
