Our client,based in Prestwick whi is an expanding CAA and FAA approved Part 145 aviation maintenance organisation, undertake the repair, maintenance and overhaul of engine nacelles, thrust reversers and flight control surfaces.
Experience in undertaking the Repair, Maintenance and Overhaul of Engine Nacelles and Flight Control Surfaces.
A good working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and/or composites, to carry out repairs and/or maintenance of airframe components is required.
Metal to Metal bonding. Composite to Metal Bonding.
Drilling, Riveting and Wet lay-up Composite repairs using pre preg materials etc.
Previous Aviation Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul experience is essential, as you will be required to work with minimum supervision.
Preference will be given to those with specific skills, knowledge and understanding in working with and interpreting the relevant data from Technical Instructions Manual; IPC’s, CMM’s and SRM’s.
Due to high customer demands and expectations and the reactive nature of our business, flexibility of skills, attitude and the willingness to work unsociable hour at short notice are key factors required for this role.
Personal, Basic tool kit for this type of work is a must. (List of tools can be provided).
