Aircraft Systems Design Engineer, Hampshire, £45,000 - £52,000
My client, a market leader in their field, is now seeking an experienced Aircraft Systems Design Engineer to join their team.The successful Aircraft Systems Design Engineer will be required to develop and implement structured engineering solutions to meet programme requirements across the whole development lifecycle.You will be responsible for your own work and that of any allocated resource to meet agreed technical quality, cost and schedule requirements.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experiences:-
- Aircraft equipment design experience; covering cockpit systems, air-data systems / monitoring systems.
- Understand how different aircraft systems interface with each other and use information.
- Manage the process of partitioning architecture into hardware and software.
- Requirements management tool such as DOORS or similar.
- Ability to generate and document risk assessments and cost action plans.
- Tailoring systems processes to meet business needs.
- Previous planning, tracking and controlling sub-contract organisations.
