Statistician / Analyst – Insurance
Location – Fleet, Hampshire
Salary up to £35K basic plus car allowance, phone, pension and insurance.
Profile
Our client is a global provider of data analytical and decision support services to insurance companies, provide decision support software to insurers in the UK and business support and analytical services to those customers. Our client is looking for an experienced Statistician / Analyst whom will be required to collect, analyse, interpret and present quantitative information about products and the benefits that it brings to customers.
Statistician / Analyst candidate requirements
Statistician / Analyst should have a degree in Mathematics or Statistics or equivalent have experience working within an analytical / statistical role, First class spreadsheet skills, Proficient within MS Word and MS Access, proficient in writing SQL queries, and knowledge of Regression Analysis.
Ideally the Statistician / Analyst should have insurance experience or other financial services experience.
Statistician / Analyst Skills and Knowledge
First class analytical skills, Excellent communication skills, thorough understanding of analytical and statistical concepts and common methods of data analysis.
