Excellent opportunity for an Application Support Analyst / Technical Support Analyst to join a large publisher / media owner! You must have proven 2nd and 3rd line support experience on complex web architectures and strong skills in Unix Solaris and Apache Tomcat.
You will need to have strong technical support and fault analysis skills with a proven background in monitoring, up-dating and reporting on incidents logged. This position will be working in a 24x7 shift pattern. An understanding of the following would also be advantageous: Java based applications; Firewalls and load balancers / load balancing; CMS platforms (content management system); Database servers; Web development languages such as Perl, PHP and Ajax.
Working as the Application Support Analyst / Technical Support Analyst you will working in a team providing assistance to all end users in the resolution of enterprise application incidents. You will be required to provide technical analysis and technical support as well as ensure that fault queues are managed to meet agreed SLA levels. You must have excellent communcation and customer focussed / customer service skills
