Excellent opportunity to join a UK IT organisation. They are currently looking for a highly experienced Application Support Specialist with experience supporting large Unix environments and SQL. This is an opportunity to join the successful team getting involved in a wide range of key projects. You will need to have experience around Unix, Java, Websphere and SQL.
Key Accountabilities or Duties:
·Manage any issues with all applications in the project cycle from development through to live
·Resolve and manage incidents and problems (working with the Test and Development teams) ensuring the correct solution is reached
·Improve and document the technical processes around deploying software and content to all systems
·Administer gaming and business applications using the software tools provided for the relevant products
·Maintain consistent configurations across multiple systems on a daily basis
·Act as a source of information to colleagues, in particular to the Applications Support Administrator, providing direction and technical knowledge
·Administer applications and systems throughout the project lifecycle
·Administer production systems
