Working within the UK Retail market is very challenging so the successful applicant can expect daily challenge. As Area Manager you will also form part of the Regions senior team and you will be expected to contribute to the UK`s continued strategic development.
This role requires an in-depth knowledge of the food retail industry. In addition to this, we will expect the successful candidate to demonstrate the following skills:
- Commercial awareness.
- Experience of running a high turnover food business.
- With either multisite or large single store management experience.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to deliver results.
- Strong on retail standards.
- A trader.
Supermarket exposure is vital
You will either currently be an Area Manager, or alternatively you will manage a large single site.
A leading blue chip retailer with a presence on every major high street in the UK.
Circa £50000 - £60,000 + Car + Benefits
