Title:Area Sales Manager
20 -25 days holiday
Based:From home and facility in Scotland
Requirements:An Engineer in a related industry, flexible and adaptable with training in Process Control Instrumentation with knowledge gained from a recognised Industrial background. Ideally having experience and contacts within the Oil & Gas industry throughout Scotland but inparticular Aberdeen. An excellent working understanding of common computer software packages is also desirable.
Sound communication skills both verbally and written is required because the job will involve a high degree of customer contact, visits and liaison.
Qualifications:HNC or equal in Instrumentation or Electrical/Electronics Engineering
Duties:To proactively sale the companies range of products to direct sale customers throughout Scotland, plus assist when necessary with technically and commercially competent quotations and tenders to a high standard within agreed deadlines. Follow up sales leads as deemed appropriate reporting back to the appropriate Manager. Product responsibility: Pressure, Flow, Level etc.
Company: Was formed in 1986 and has bases in Southern England and Scotland.
Our client a manufacturer and supplier of process Instrumentation and Analytical Systems to the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical and Processing Industries including major laboratories and Utilities.
Due to recent expansion they have opened up a facility in Scotland which will include their own Flow Test Rig incorporating instrumentation and systems for the offshore industry.
