Pay scale: £17.00 - £20.40 per hour (negotiable)
We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Asbestos Duty Holder Trainer - BOHS P402 Certified.
Education and / or experience
1British Occupational Health Society
P402 Buildings Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos
2Experience of providing Asbestos training
3Ability to provide guidance on cost effective solutions to asbestos issues
Knowledge
4Knowledge and understanding of current asbestos legislation, associated guidance and best practice
Skills and Abilities
5Able to adhere to the Council's health and safety policy
6Able to work as part of a team
7Able to train and coach employees
8Able to gather information and prepare and present oral and written factual reports
9Able to organise and prioritise work activities to achieve the most effective use of time
10Able to use various computer software packages e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent, to generate reports, statistics and training material
11Able to work towards and implement the Council's core values, environmental statement and equal opportunities policy

12Ability to travel round the borough
