The Company
Robert Half is looking to an Assistant Accountant to join a leading public sector body based in Birmingham.
The RoleThe Assistant Accountant will have had previous financial experience to include budget management; have experience in the use of financial and reporting software; have experience of balance sheet reconciliations; experience of accounting for Fixed Assets. It is important that you have extensive knowledge of the budgetary process; a thorough understanding of accruals and prepayments; auditing practises.The successful candidate will be AAT qualified and will have strong excel and word skills. In addition experience of public sector accounting, statutory accounting and accounting standards; performance and risk management and business planning.
