Assistant Direct Marketing Manager
Assisting the Head of Marketing and responsible for 2 Executives, you will help to develop a direct marketing plan to increase retention, recommendations and acquisition.
You will need to have strong project management skills and a real understanding of direct marketing principles and be able to translate CRM strategies into effective campaigns.
You will be required to manage relationships with key partners and customers, have some budget responsibility and will be expected to achieve targets and demonstrate success against ROI.
Together with the Head of Marketing you’ll be responsible for all offline marketing activity including Direct Marketing, PR, Advertising, Events and all brochures and printed communications.
Working closely with the Digital Marketing team, you will ensure consistency of communication and approach both offline and online.
You will ideally have a minimum of 5 years direct marketing experience with some experience in managing staff.
Attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills combined with a confident and persuasive manner and the ability to communicate with people at all levels are essential qualities for the successful applicant.
You will have excellent analytical skills, be proactive and take ownership for your projects and you will have the ability to multi-task in a pressurised environment.
Experience of working in the travel industry is essential. A marketing qualification and knowledge of Crystal Reports are preferred but not essential.
£££££ - Salary commensurate with experience. Hours of Work; Monday – Friday 9 - 5pm. Occasional weekend working.
