46003600 Assistant Director - Treasury London £70000 to £85000 per annum Permanent jobs Updated 20/11/2009 19:06 Job Role Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Assistant Director - Treasury will play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of the Group. You will be responsible for coordinating a treasury service for the Group and give guidance to ensure robust fiscal approach to borrowing, security and cash flow management.
Key Accountabilities include:
- develop a comprehensive treasury management policy and strategy.
- monitor and report the progress of capital budgets and cash liquidity and risk.
- ensure all transactions and funds are correctly apportioned and accounted for in accordance with accounting conventions.
- have a clear focus on developing sustainable relationships with funders, bankers, consultants, advisors and other stakeholders.
You will be a professional treasury with a relevant qualification (CMCert or AMCT) and a high level of knowledge of treasury management; particularly cash management, money markets and capital markets. You will have proven experience of ensuring that financial covenants of a complex organisation are effectively managed, monitored and complied with. Man management skills are desired.
