Our client, a small but well functioning Local Authority currently seeks to appoint an experienced Chartered Town Planner to act as Assistant Director of Planning.
The role will involve managing and improving the planning service and you will be responsible for council's planning functions including planning policy, development control, enforcement and conservation. Furthermore you will manage the production of the Local Development Framework in addition to dealing with complex or problematic develop control cases.
An excellent opportunity for an existing Director of Planning or somebody looking for fast-track career progression who is keen to step up to the challenge.
