Assistant Geo-Environmental Engineer/Environmental Consultant (Salary £18,000 - £22,000)
Kent, UK
Due to my clients ever-increasing workload, they are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Assistant Geo-Environmental Engineer. This is a permanent and full time position within their contaminated land team.
Primary duties associated with this position include the production of Phase I (Desk Study) and Phase II (Site Investigation) contaminated land assessment reports as well as the conduct of associated field work. Some field work away from home may be required.
Applicants should possess the following
Education to at least Degree level with a minimum of a 21 in a relevant discipline (e.g. geology or environmental science);
Relevant contaminated land experience within a consultancy setting and a good knowledge of Phase 1 Desk Studies;
A positive and flexible attitude towards field work regardless of site conditions.
A full clean driving license and their own means of transport.
